Adult Autism Waiver
Offers assistance in everyday life situations for adults over the age of 21 who have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Services include Behavioral Specialist, Community Inclusion, Family Counseling and Temporary Crisis Management. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES OFFERED
PSYCHIATRIST- Provides psychiatric evaluations. Prescribes psychiatric medications and provides medication management.
PSYCHOLOGIST- Provides psychological evaluations, testing, and writes recommendations for BHRS services.
THERAPIST- Provides counseling services to individuals, couples, families and groups. Services are offered to children, adolescents and adults, including geriatric clients to address a variety of challenges, traumas and diagnoses.
GROUP WORK- Offers opportunity for improving mental health through sessions that provide education by group facilitator and discussion/ support among group members.
CRISIS LINE- Service for clients that provides crisis management 24 hours a day in the event of an emergency such as thoughts of harm to self or others.
BHRS PROGRAM- (Behavioral Health Rehab Services)
- MOBILE THERAPIST- Offer child-centered family-focused psychotherapy in the home or community.
- BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST CONSULTANT- Assists parents and treatment team in establishing and implementing plan to address specific behavior concerns.
- THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT STAFF- Offers intense one-on-one services to your child in the home, at school or in the community.
